Celebrating the Arrival of the Atlantic Dash

Rocks Group welcomes ocean rowers to Antigua after their extraordinary Atlantic crossing.

Each year, multiple teams of determined adventurers take on the remarkable challenge of rowing across the Atlantic Ocean in the Atlantic Dash.

After thousands of miles at sea, Antigua becomes the finish line, and Rocks Group is proud to help welcome the rowers to shore.

For the past several years, Sheer Rocks and Rocks Group have supported the event, celebrating the incredible endurance and determination it takes to complete the crossing.

When the first teams reach Jolly Harbour Marina, our team will be there to celebrate their arrival with a lively welcome at the dock.

The Rocks Group team will host a dockside pop-up, where we will:

• Provide the first meal for the arriving rowers
• Celebrate their finish with champagne to spray on arrival
• Offer complimentary drinks to the first 50 guests who come to welcome them ashore
• Bring the community together to celebrate the moment

This year, celebrations will extend to Fat Urchin, our waterfront pub and coastal kitchen located right in the marina.

Rowers are expected to arrive late Friday or early Saturday morning, depending on conditions at sea. Because timing can change, we encourage everyone to follow our social media channels for real-time updates on their arrival.

Each team rows in support of a charity or cause, making their journey not only an incredible physical feat but also a mission to raise awareness and funds for organisations around the world.

We invite the community to come down to the marina, welcome the rowers, and help us celebrate an unforgettable moment of achievement.
