Meet Our Rockstar Melissa

Allow us to introduce one of our rising rockstars, Melissa! You may recognise this smiling face (left) from Sheer Rocks.

Melissa has been with Rocks Group for 6 years and has blossomed gracefully from line staff to her new role as Supervisor at Sheer Rocks.

With this new role comes more responsibility, but Melissa appreciates being able to help her coworkers grow and loves making new connections with guests throughout the restaurant. Melissa says she is “loving being in a leadership position”, noting that she believes she was trained and moulded well for the position. She especially enjoys the positive and supportive reactions from guests when she shares her new role, and says it motivates her to keep doing her very best!

As a supervisor, Melissa has shared that she is grateful to now be in a position to see and appreciate the behind the scenes decision made within the restaurant and would have never thought so much thought went into something like the position of an umbrella! It’s all in the details.

She hopes to move into a Senior Supervisor position role within the next 2 years and and is very excited about where this new experience will take her. Congratulations Melissa!
